ReplyDeleteI recently converted all of my email to use IMAP, and normally use Thunderbird to synchronise my folders (sorted on the server side mostly) to a local store. Was hoping to do the same on the iPad and iPhone with iMail Pro. The sync worked as advertised with a couple of minor hiccups (to be expected when syncing 450,000+ emails!).
Biggest issues I'm having are usability ones related to how I'm trying to use the product. I'm not able to readily see which emails are unread (unlike Thunderbird, which clearly shows this). Also, it would be handy to see which folders have unread messages (and a count would be a nice touch, but not essential), so I can go to those.
2 way syncing would be nice (I haven't tested if this is what happens), so if I read messages on the iPad, then on the next sync, the server is updated with the newly read messages.
Pay attention with 26.2.2013 update because locked screen does not accept any password and remains blocked.
